Global or Alter- Globalist? Contemporary Central and Eastern European Art Histories/ Curated lecture programme as part of the Global Art History Series at KU, Linz.
The programme is focused on Central and Eastern European contemporary art historical narratives, critical positions and methodologies written in response to the 1989 shift in the global world order and concerned with the issue of globalising regional art and its histories. It problematises both the global perspective in art history from the regional point of view and the strategies of positioning of the regional art history within the global context.
